Numerical solution of the linearized inverse problem for acoustic equation
In this paper we develop an algorithm of numerical solution of the inverse dynamical problem about speed of sound reconstruction in horizontally layered acoustical medium. The solution is based on linearized version of the Boundary Control Method. The inverse data is the response at the single boundary point from the boundary point source; the probe pulse is the Ricker wavelet. The results of numerical modeling for twodimensional domain are presented.

Numerical solving the linearized inverse problem for twoparameter acoustic equation
In this paper we develop а numerical algorithm for solving inverse dynamical problem: recovering two parameters of the acoustical medium (density and compressibility modulus) by boundary measurements (response operator). The solution is based on a linearized version of the Boundary Control method: the response operator explicitly determined some bilinear energy forms w. r. t. boundary controls. We use linearized presentations of these forms w. r. t. to background. The results of numerical experiments...

Equivocality in Delineating the Borders of a Cluster: The Baltic’s Case

Combinations of these proximities create the unique mosaic of a regional milieu. Geographical proximity translates into the boundaries of spatial networks, which rarely follow the existing administrative divisions. Cohen and Natorp’s Philosophy of Religion: the Argument about the Boundary of Reason
The philosophy of religion as presented by Hermann Cohen and Paul Natorp, the founders and main representatives of the Marburg School of NeoKantianism, is an important and at the same time controversial part of their philosophical systems. The discussion around the problems of religion began within the Marburg School and still continues among those who study that School. The reason for this is that “fitting” philosophical thinking about the phenomenon of religion into the classical triad of any...

The Role of the Sublime in Kant’s Religion: Moral Motivation and Empirical Possibility

... aesthetization process in modern culture in the structure of the Kantian philosophy. The connection of Kant's aesthetics with science and morality is traced, and also Kant’s influence on the romantic philosophy of art is revealed. The loss of its classical boundaries by modern aesthetics is shown as originated in the Kantian philosophy, though it was this very philosophy in which these boundaries were once defined.

The boundary value problem is solves with the standard numerical method, the Mathcad in particular. The least squares method was used to find the empirical dependence of the heat nitrogen on the temperature...

The relevant boundary value problem has no analytical solution. We consider the dynamics of a steady flow of...

Semigeodetic transformation of temporary images
Often while seismic data processing one gets time dependent images (time cuts, time migration), in which time plays the role of the «depth» variable. If in some approximation the wave propagation velocity is known, these images can be transformed into the true ones. In this article for this purpose it is proposed to use semigeodesic transform associated with the normal to the boundary rays. The results of simulations are presented.
