The response of different plant life forms to natural environment changes
... palustre L.; grass — Solidago Canadensis; cereal — Secale cereal L. Collection and processing of the material was made in the area of Berlin/Brandenburg, Germany. Clark sensor-based method made it possible to determine the amount and rate of the oxygen evolution by plants in the dark and light phase. Under the reaction norm the average amount of the oxygen evolved and the average rate of metabolism processes during dark and light phases are changing simultaneously. Parabolic and periodic dependences ...
Current status of the Eastern Baltic cod population Gadus morhua callarias Linnaeus, 1758
... conducted. The Eastern Baltic cod is one of the most important commercial species in the Baltic Sea. An ecological regime shift in the early 1990s, resulting from a reduction in the frequency of large North Sea inflows, led to a decrease in salinity and oxygen levels in the bottom layers of the deep basins of the Baltic Sea. This caused a sharp deterioration in the spawning conditions. Factors influencing the Eastern Baltic cod population and changes in the population under the influence of these factors ...

Modeling the formation of ion shadows behind a positively charged microsatellite in an oxygen plasma by the molecular dynamics method
Results of modeling the formation of ion shadows in a thermal ionospheric plasma consisting of oxygen ions and electrons behind a charged microsatellite are presented. The molecular dynamics method was used for modeling. It is shown that in a time of the order of 610-5 s an ionic shadow with a low ion concentration is practically formed.

A modeling the interaction of a oxygen plasma with a positively charged microsatellite with the molecular dynamics modeling method
The results of modeling the interaction of a single-ion thermal ionospheric plasma consisting of oxygen ions and electrons with a charged microsatellite are presented. The molecular dynamics modeling method was used. It is shown that behind the satellite there is a so-called ionic shadow with a low ionic concentration.

A geoecological analysis of the impact of meteorological factors on the forests of the Kaliningrad region
This articles estimates the impact of changes in meteorological factors changes on the in dynamics of forest phytomass and oxygen evolution in the forests of the Kaliningrad region in 1960—2010. The authors make conclusions regarding the environment shaping significance of forests based on calculation data.

The impact of environmental factors on the distribution of Macoma balthica (Linnaeus 1758) and Mytilus edulis (Linnaeus 1758) in the southeastern part of the Baltic Sea
... abundant bivalve species – Macoma balthica and Mytilus eduli – in the south-east of the Baltic Sea. First of all, the distribution of species was determined by the types of soils. The distribution of molluscs in deep-water sectors was limited by oxygen deficiency in near-bottom waters.
