Демонизация Красной армии как один из трендов западной историографии
АннотацияИсследуется вопрос о причинах и сути попыток демонизации облика Красной армии в современной западной историографии. Делается вывод, что главным фактором, определяющим такой подход, является стремление исказить роль СССР в разгроме гитлеровской Германии и освобождении Европы от нацистского рабства. Отсюда выдвижение тезиса, что приход Красной армии был не актом освобождения, а началом новой, еще более жестокой, чем нацистская, оккупации.
This article focuses on the reasons behind and attempts at demonising the image of the Red Army in the modern Western historiography. It is concluded that the key factor behind this approach is the aspiration to misrepresent the role of the USSR in the destruction of Hitler’s Germany and the liberation of Europe from the Nazi slavery, which results in the thesis that the entry of the Red Army was not an act of liberation but rather the beginning of a new occupation, which was even worse that the Nazi one.
