Thus, the moral efforts of participants in the communicative space are perhaps the main condition for the movement of socially differentiated rationality towards its unity. The rejection of the classical idea of a single rationality is not harmless, for this very idea is a normative ideal, a self-fulfilling prophecy that depends on collective faith and joint actions.
