Философия химии Канта и космология Ницше: о материальной герменевтике алхимии и киновари. Часть I

Аннотация

Обращаясь к размышлениям Канта о химии как науке, а также к его определению науки как таковой, данная статья переосмысливает кантовское наследие в контексте истории химии. Кантовская «Всеобщая естественная история и теория неба» рассматривается через призму современных аксиоматических систем с опорой на работу астрофизика Рудольфа Курта (1956) и ницшеанское понимание логики и причинности (Ницше ссылается на теорию Канта в своем подробном разборе досократовской космологии Анаксагора). Наряду с размышлениями об алхимии внимание уделяется истории и историографии химии, а также современным исследованиям в области философии химии. Поскольку основы химии по своей сути не являются математическими, она, согласно Канту, не может в полной мере удовлетворять критериям «науки». Аналогичное рассуждение применимо и к алхимии (или спагирии), которая также не признается наукой. Герменевтический подход к истории и философии науки представляется плодотворным как для понимания кантовского представления о химии как науке, так и для анализа его обращения к спагирическому «искусству» Шталя, а также к приводимому им примеру изменчивых свойств сульфида ртути — киновари (HgS). Одно из ключевых свойств киновари, значимое в данном контексте, — изменение цвета вещества (переход от красного к черному) в зависимости от освещения. Такая изменчивость служит метафорой метаморфоза, ставящей под вопрос универсальность химических принципов. Философия Канта вкупе с его критикой химии создает предпосылки для дальнейшего изучения понятий, восходящих к алхимической традиции.
