An “exceptional character” in G. G. Byron’s Mazeppa
Abstract
The analysis of Byron’s poem includes the examination of its mythopoetic images and the testing situation constituting the framework of the plot structure. The author comes to a conclusion about the dominants of Byron’s axiological system.
