Cytokine-induced regulation of maturation, differentiation, and apoptotic death of immune memory T-lymphocytes
... apoptotic death of memory T-lymphocytes under in vitro cultivation conditions was evaluated.
The study revealed the ability of γc-cytokines to increase the content of CD3+HLA-DR+CD95+ T cells in the effector populations of immune memory cytotoxic lymphocytes, which may indicate the processes of cell differentiation and maturation under the influence of γc-cytokines.
The authors also showed that in CD3+CD4+CD45RO+ T-lymphocytes have a relative resistance to the action of γc-cytokines, in comparison ...

Gender an seasonal changes in the leukocyte population in different age groups
This article presents the results of a hematological assay of blood (leucocytes, mean value of absolute and relative values of the leucocyte population: lymphocytes, total eosinophil, basophils, monocyte, and neutrophil count) in the military and reserve personnel. Seasonal, gender and age-dependent features in blood parameter changes are identified.

The indicators of the quality of life in patients with a terminal stage of chronic kidney disease on hemodialysis
... chronic kidney disease. The nutritional status of the patients was assessed using clinical data: the body mass index, the skin and fat folds over triceps, the shoulder muscle circumference, the albumin laboratory values, and the absolute number of lymphocytes in 20 patients with end-stage chronic kidney disease. All of them were receiving treatment in the dialysis department of the Kaliningrad Regional Hospital. In conclusion, we establish the relationship between the quality of life in patients ...
