The avoidance of investigative errors when interrogating women
In view of the situational nature of investigative errors, the authors identify the most typical errors made in the course of interrogating women suspected (accused) of violent crimes. The article formulates a number of tactical recommendations on their avoidance and describes the ways to increase the efficiency of such interrogations.

Petrov help consider the specific functional features of the microfield of interrogatively imperative modality in a literary text. The author establishes the structure-content correlation of the question and imperative within the given microfield and identifies the most regular means of expression of its specific meanings.
The functioning of interrogative hortative structures in the political discourse (based on V.V. Putin’s public speeches)
Based on the verbatim records of V.V. Putin’s public speeches, the authors examine syntactic structures representing different types of interrogative hortative modality in the political discourse.
