Ash plant in the urban environment (for example, the city of Gomel)
The article presents the analysis of ash-content in different systematic groups of vegetation of the western and northern industrial zones of Gomel. These industrial zones differ in the degree of their technogenic influence on the environment. The study shows the dominance of Aster and Leguminous plants. The ash-content in the Leguminous plants depended on the degree of technogenic influence.

The impact of environmental factors on housing prices in Kaliningrad
The authors study spatial distribution of housing prices in different municipal districts. The results of the geospatial analysis performed by the authors is used for creating an interpolation surface, which describes the housing price distribution in the analyzed districts. Based on a generalized analysis of the results, the authors establish a direct link between value –based housing prices and favorable environmental factors such as the density of green areas.

This article shows that the annual increase in traffic in the Smolensk region affects the environmental features of roadside land pollution by oil products, heavy metals, waste, calcium chloride, and magnesium. The impact of environmental factors on the distribution of Macoma balthica (Linnaeus 1758) and Mytilus edulis (Linnaeus 1758) in the southeastern part of the Baltic Sea
This article offers the results of research on the influence of environmental factors on the distribution of two abundant bivalve species – Macoma balthica and Mytilus eduli – in the south-east of the Baltic Sea. First of all, the distribution of species was determined by the types of soils. The distribution of molluscs in deep-water sectors was limited by oxygen deficiency in near-bottom waters.
