The ideal of state and social culture according to Rus¬sian conservatives of the first quarter of the 19th century
This article analyses the conservative retrospective utopia, the main elements of which were autocracy, Orthodoxy, the principle of hierarchy, the supremacy of the rural way of life over the urban one, and the programme of national upbringing.

The manifestation of oppositional ideas of the second half of the 18th century in the Panin — Fonvizin law project
This article examines the currents of oppositional thought in the second half of the 18th century through the example of the Panin – Fonvizin project. The paper addresses the problem of the project's authorship and analyses the thinkers' ideal of state structure.
