This article sets out to study argumentation in the logical works of N.A. Vasilyev. The aim of this research is to find out how the author proves the possibility of a different – imaginary – logic. With the help of V.N. Bryushinkin’s system model of argumentation, the author analysis logical and rhetorical devices, determines the dual character of the proof, and offers an explanation of argumentation redundancy.
