..., dialectical locus, Boethius The article considers the notion of dialectical locus, its development in the context of development of ancient and medieval dialectic and in the modern theory of argumentation in the theory of loci by H. Perelman. The functions of the dialectical loci, their ontological status and connection with metaphysics are put into question. The ontological dependence of the loci is shown.
