The international cooperation ability of management in the strategic potential of an organisation

Abstract

On the basis of the resource approach to analysing the mechanism of the formation and application of competitive advantages of organisation, this article stresses the need for the examination of the category of the "strategic potential of an organisation. The author considers the ability of the management of organisation to cooperate at the international level, or the international cooperation capability (ICA), in the framework of a more advanced version of the resource approach — the dynamic capabilities concept.

Some aspects of the theory of network structures as a mechanism of innovative activity management

Abstract

This article analyses the role of network forms of organisation in the development of innovative processes. The authors consider several definitions of network forms of organisation, including those typical of the sphere of innovations. The article offers an analysis of the explanation of the network phenomenon in the social exchange theory, M. Castells's network theory, resource dependence theory, organisational sociology theory, new institutionalism, evolutionary economics, and French economic institutionalism.

The institutional aspects of the discrete investment choice at a regional level (through the example of the SEZ in the Kaliningrad region)

Abstract

This article considers the institutional aspects of discrete investment choice at the regional level through the example of the SEZ in the Kaliningrad region. The authors analysed the changes of the institution of SEZ throughout the latter's existence as well as the conditions of the economic agent activity within the SEZ. With the help of the Devereaux, Griffith model (1999, 2003), which describes the interconnections between the corporate taxation and discrete investment choice, the authors empirically assessed the influence of the SEZ institution on the investment conditions in the region.

The organisational model of assessing the influence of vocational education on the competitiveness of small enterprises in the region

Abstract

This article emphasises the importance and focuses on the content of the organisational-logical model of the assessment of the influence of vocational training on the competitiveness of small enterprises in the region. By means of the target programme method and on the basis of integral expert reviews, the author built a model of the increase in regional vocational training influence on the development and competitiveness of small enterprises.
