The “personal-social” antinomy as a mechanism for analysing and assessing pedagogical studies on developing cognitive interests in cadets

Abstract

Using the “personal-social” antinomy, the author analyses the results of a historical and pedagogical reconstruction of the 1960s— 80s theoretical and practical studies on the development of cognitive interests in cadets within the training process at military schools. The analysis helps to identify the conditions for critical and creative application of these results in humanising the system of military education in modern Russia.

Improvement of professional training of law enforcement officials at a professional training centre

Abstract

The introduction and application of modern educational technologies radically change the level of police officers’ professional training. The use of mind mapping technology in the training process at the Regional Professional Training Center has improved the academic performance of police officers. It is stressed that the use of mental maps is a convenient and effective method for thinking visualization and alternative recording, which can be successfully used in developing new ideas, recording thoughts, and analyzing and structuring information, etc.

Methodological support for the “Human anatomy” discipline for undergraduate students in physical education

Abstract

This article explores the ways of updating and restructuring the methodological framework of the “Human Anatomy” discipline as taught to undergraduate students in physical education. The author presents the structure of the methodological framework created to improve the quality of training process organisation and development of knowledge in students. An assessment of the efficiency of using the methodological framework in the training process is presented.
