Investigation of the receiver path of the leaky wave antenna by the method of equivalent circuits

Abstract

The equivalent circuit is developed to describe the electrical processes in the receiver path of the leaky wave antenna. The line has the slot-type radiator which is considered as a resistive-capacitive non-uniformity. The slot in the waveguide wall is considered as non-uniformity of resistivecapacitive type. The system of equations is composed and solved to investigate the balance of power in the receiver path and found the electrical parameters of the scheme.

The dynamics of ground-level aerosol lidar observation in Kaliningrad

Abstract

This paper presents the results of observations of the dynamics of groundlevel aerosol made using two-wavelength (532, 1064 nm) atmospheric lidar (LSA-2S). The observations were made in December 2011 — January 2012 in the morning (8—10 h LT) in order to study the dynamics of aerosol during of the solar terminator period. In the observations revealed that appear aerosol characteristics oscillations with periods of 15—20 min during the period of the solar terminator. It is assumed that these oscillations can be caused by the excitation of internal gravity waves in the solar terminator.

Model of ionospheric signal with the multiplicate hindrance

Abstract

It is shown that unsteadiness parameters of components of the ionospheric signal leads to multiplicative noise. It largely affects the reliable data when receiving ionospheric signals. The estimation of the variance of the amplitudes for the reception of ionospheric signals with multiplicative noise. The results of studying the effectiveness of the methods of Doppler filtering when  receiving ionospheric signals.

The check of electromagnetic compability of the propulsion system with the electrodynamic simulator of the thrust module

Abstract

The noise nature of discharge current oscillations of the stationary plasma thruster has been revealed. The maximal level of generated low-frequency conducted interferences in all the modes of the electro-dynamic thrust module simulator operation has been determined.

Study of antenna of leaky waves with the slot of an arbitrary length in the waveguide by the method of equivalent circuits

Abstract

The equivalent circuit is developed to describe the electrical processes in the antenna of leaky wave. The slot of an arbitrary length in the waveguide wall is considered as non-uniformity of resistive-capacitive type with distributed parameters. The calculations are performed to determine the optimal values of the antenna parameters.
