Numerical recovering an absorption coefficient by BC-method
A numerical algorithm for solving inverse dynamical problem recovering an absorption by the boundary control method is developed. The absorption coefficient is determined independently of a speed of sound, which can be an arbitrary smooth positive function. The results of numerical experiments are represented.

Numerical solving the linearized inverse problem for two-parameter acoustic equation
In this paper we develop а numerical algorithm for solving inverse dynamical problem: recovering two parameters of the acoustical medium (density and compressibility modulus) by boundary measurements (response operator). The solution is based on a linearized version of the Boundary Control method: the response operator explicitly determined some bilinear energy forms w. r. t. boundary controls. We use linearized presentations of these forms w. r. t. to background. The results of numerical experiments...
An economic analysis of the structure of amber processing industry
This paper focuses on the problems of improving the structure of amber processing industry and analyzes the amber industry by segments. The author introduces the notion of level of value added per employee and the level of value added through processing regional natural resources and considers the possibility of recovering rental income from raw amber processing.

The effect of exogenous hormonal compounds on the process of regeneration in flatworms
This article describes the effect of three hormonal specimens — two analogues of sex steroid hormones (progesterone and testosterone) and a glycocorticoid hormone prednisolone (dehydrogenated analogue of hydrocortisone) —on the process of regeneration of freshwater planarian Dugesia lugubris Schmidt, 1861. The hormonal specimens differing on chemical nature and physiological activity have differently directed effect on the processes of regeneration. The rate of proliferation generally depends...
