Investigation of discharge chamber insulator relative erosion of stationary plasma thruster
The results of investigations of relative erosion at different modes of the stationary plasma thruster operation are presented herein. The optimal parameters of thruster operation mode ensuring minimum erosion of the discharge chamber walls are defined herein.

Transformation of developed lands and geoecological potential of nature resource management
The article cartographically visualizes spatial typologies of the municipal districts of the North-Eastern Caucasus according to the degree of soil erosion as a result of water and wind erosion, salinization and dehumification. Water erosion is most actively manifested in foothill and mountainous areas on steep landslide slopes with high plowing. Wind erosion of the soil cover is most visible in ...
Development of an erosion model of a discharge chamber of a stationary plasma engine
Problems of erosion of elements of stationary plasma electric rocket engines are considered. Modern tasks require the engine significant resource characteristics, confirmed by long-term ground tests. In the paper, the possibility of applying accelerated tests for ...
Deformations of the marinve coastline of the Curonian spit (South-Eastern Baltic Sea) during autumn-winter season of 2018—2019
... lasting 10 hours, with a wave height of 7—8 m, accompanied by a rise in sea level by 0.7 m, hit the coast of the Southeastern Baltic Sea in January 2019. The coast of the Russian part of the Curonian Spit was selectively eroded. The most significant erosion was recorded in the near border part of the coast (the foredune retreated from 1 to 4.7 m), as well as in the root section, where the foredune broke through and the adjacent territory was flooded. The zone between these parts of the spit proved ...

The Accession of Finland and Sweden to NATO: Geopolitical implications for Russia’s position in the Baltic Sea region
... objectively aimed at bringing these states closer to NATO and building a security system in the region focused on the Atlantic vector [1]. The Russia — West confrontation, which escalated after the start of the Ukraine crisis, further accelerated the erosion of the non-aligned status of Finland and Sweden. They were increasingly involved in joint military activities with NATO, including Aurora, BALTOPS, and Cold Response military exercises, although officially they did not set the goal of joining ...
New opportunities for the Russian Baltic exclave in the context of changes in the country’s geopolitical situation
... the Baltic region. This study aims to demonstrate the possible effect of some trends in the development of the neighbouring countries on the future of the Kaliningrad region and make recommendations on the territory’s macrospecialisation. Amid the erosion of the world order, Sergey A. Karaganov calls for moderate isolationism. The Kaliningrad region is an incredibly interesting historical experiment bound to produce unexpected results. The strengthening of Russia, which coincided with the termination ...
