Specific features of the diarist-writer’s world view verbalisation
The article deals with the influence of the diarist’s status as a writer on a variety of ways of formation and explication of the language view of the world in the corresponding discourse.

Language specificity of Franz Kafka’s non-fiction texts
The characteristic features of non-fictional texts by F. Kafka are studied on the material of the author’s diaristic and epistolary texts, which manifest his linguistic personality. The epistolary texts are analysed in reference to the addressee and their relationship with the author. Special attention is paid to the functional specificity of the parable as a genre and the absurd character of the author’s narration.

This article emphasises the significance of the diary genre in Jerzy Andrzejewski's prosaic experiments of the 1970s. The author considers the poetics of Andrzejewski's "literary diary" From One Day to Another and unfinished novel of diary "genesis" Hundred Years Ago and Now.
