On the toponymic purism in North-East Prussia in the first half of the 20th century
This article analyses the large-scale renaming campaign held by the German leadership in the late 1930s in order to Germanise the Prussian territories of the state. It is concluded that the puristic activities of German National Socialists widely discussed in the modern scientific community were inconsistent.
