This article presents an evaluation of the antioxidant status of plants with the use of the GDV-method under the toxic effect of cadmium. The method of gas chromatography-spectrometry was used for the qualitative and quantitative identification of the composition of essential oil obtained from common yarrow growing in different soils in the climatic zone of the Kaliningrad region.
