This article examines the concept of time in B. Zaitesev’s short story “St Nicholas Street” and the means of its linguistic and image representation. The author considers the correlation of cyclic, biographical, and historical time and the category of the eternal, as well as the means of linear time cyclisation and comes to a conclusion about the meaning and text forming role of the cyclic time model. 1.
