Ontogenesis of Dracocephalum nutans L. and Dracocephalum grandiflorum L. in the Alma-Ata region
... species in the Alma-Ata region. The research results include the following: growth and development rhythm of the species corresponds to the natural climatic fluctuations of the new environment; i. e. vegetation period coincides with the period
of stable positive air temperatures in the Alma-Ata region. The vegetation period of Dracocephalum nutans L. lasts 160—170 days; Dracocephalum grandiflorum L. — 140—150 days.

On Estimation of Rainfall Variations over the European Part of Russia
The rainfall variations on the European part of Russia over the period of instrumental observations (1901-2005) are considered in comparison to the hemisphere and global rainfall variations. A positive rainfall trend is indicated over the observation period. The most significant increase in precipitation over the European part of Russia was recorded in the second half of the 20th century and amounted to 20.6 mm/10 years.

The assessment of the antioxidative status of plants of different ecological groups growing on the Curonian spit
... article analyses the endogenous level of antioxidants in the plants growing on the Curonian spit. The authors distinguished two groups of plants with the highest content of anthocyans and the water-soluble antioxidants in plant tissues and determined a positive correlation dependency between the anthocyan content and the level of carotenoids and a negative correlation dependency between the anthocyans and АОА content in the leaves of plants under consideration regardless of environmental conditions....
The reparative treatment of the wounded and injured with multisystem injuries to the tendons and nerves of the upper extremity
... cases. The article offers an analysis of the efficiency of pre-hospital surgical interventions. The statistical data obtained favour high-precision techniques of tendon and nerve treatment over the traditional ones. The author achieved relatively high positive results of treatment — 88,8 % of
patients were able to return to work.

Long-term dynamics of structure and abundance of bream population in the Vistula lagoon
This paper analyses the long-term dynamics of structure and abundance of bream (Abramis brama L.) population in the Vistula lagoon on the basis of 1959—2010 trawl surveys. The authors emphasise the positive long-term impact of fishing regulation. The current bream stock is estimated as sufficient.

The steroid regulation of immune memory
The solution to the problem of immune memory generation in pathological processes of various kinds is a subject of theoretical investigations of the biomedical science. The role of immune memory in different diseases is ambiguous and may have both positive and negative consequences. It necessitates the search for effective ways of its regulation (by either endocrine or external influence), which, in some cases (infectious and tumourous disease), aim to strengthen and, in other cases (autoimmune ...
