Moral politics against political moralism — political satire in E. T. A. Hoffmann's Christmas tale "Meister Floh". Article 1
AbstractIn the paper it is shown that E. T. A. Hoffmann has been valuing the post-Napoleon politics of Prussia in the Christmas tale "Meister Floh" from the Kantian position. The cardinal problem of the tale — shown in "Halle-gorisch und Jena-logisch" manner how Hoffmann himself had characterized his style — is the problem of constitution for Prussia.
