AIMS AND SCOPE

Slovo.ru: The Baltic Accent magazine is a quarterly journal publishing peer-reviewed multidisciplinary research into the Russian language, literature, culture and Russian history. Slovo.ru provides insightful news about the theory and methodology of the Humanities thus allowing a deeper understanding of the key problems of Russian studies. Taking into account the specificity of the Kaliningrad region, Slovo. ru discusses the current trends in teaching Russian as a foreign language and the promotion of the Russian language, literature and culture abroad. 


The journal facilitates intellectual and cultural exchange and reflects on national and cultural traditions of the Russian metropolis and diasporas. Leading Russian and international researchers are members of the editorial council and the editorial board of the journal The journal is indexed in the Russian Science Citation Index database (RSCI).
