Modernization of the cellular communication system in the city of Svetlogorsk based on the fifth generation network

Abstract

Analyzed the existing cellular network in the city of Svetlogorsk. The expediency of introducing fifth generation networks is substantiated. Taking into account the building density and terrain, signal propagation models were selected, the radio channel budget, the radius of the zone of reliable radio reception, and the number of base stations were calculated. The optimal location of cellular base stations in the city of Svetlogorsk has been determined.

Improvements in the software for robotic installations for applying glue to glass for implementation at the enterprise “Avtotor”

Abstract

To automate the process of applying glue at the Avtotor enterprise, a robotic system was introduced to the KIA/Hyundai assembly line, and it is also planned to introduce a system for applying glue to the BMW assembly line. This article describes rework of the software for introduction to assembly lines.

Broadband access network design

Abstract

Relying on the main principles of broadband networks building a working network in a densely built up house estate “Legends of the sea” (Kaliningrad), with plenty of potential users was built. An active and passive component that consider the estate’s specifics were chosen and also an optical budget for a theoretical check of network’s efficiency was calculated.

On the possibility of analytical detection of the TEMPEST signal in HDMI video interfaces

Abstract

This paper presents the theory and the practical proof of the possibility of detecting the TEMPEST signal in digital video interfaces. A comparative analysis of the possibility of obtaining information from VGA and HDMI video interfaces by means of TEMPEST was carried out. In accordance with the results of the analysis, a theoretical assumption was put forward and practically proved later.

Development of a monitoring and control system for the indoor microclimate

Abstract

A monitoring and control system is a system that allows you to remotely collect data on indicators from monitoring objects, without a physical presence. This system allows you to work both with sensors and other devices directly, and with an intermediate device, for example, with a controller or a local hub. In the current implementation, obtaining data on temperature, humidity and energy consumption of heating in a room has been created. The system also includes a feedback channel for controlling actuator devices, that is, command devices. One of these types of devices is a heat exchanger — a device for blowing air into a room for the purpose of thermoregulation. The current implementation also provides for the control of the heat exchanger by setting the schedule for its operation. The system has an information and analytical environment that allows you to display data that is convenient for perception and analyze energy consumption.

Securing JavaScript applications with Web Cryptography API

Abstract

With an increasing number of web applications, the need of ordinary users to have more secure web applications has increased and web developers are attempting to match those expectations. This article is devoted to consideration of the basic concepts of the Web Cryptography API since it defines cryptographic primitives to be deployed across browsers and JavaScript web applications. The purpose of the article is the theoretical justification for the application of Web Crypto API within native JavaScript environments in order to secure web applications. The article deals with the key definitions within the Web Crypto API; describes design and generic interfaces for using cryptographic algorithms; indicates possible limitations of the Web Crypto API; reviews its compatibility and implementations for Node.js cryptomodule, for instance, a WebCrypto prototype for Node.js has been developed. The results of study provide concrete evidence that web applications that use Web Crypto API become more secure as it enforces usage patterns of keys that correlate to known best practices in cryptography. The findings suggest that more emphasis should be placed on providing interoperability between the Web Cryptography API and the existing Node.js crypto module.

Cellular communication network of the fifth generation in the territory of the national park

Abstract

There has been a rapid increase in the attendance of the Curonian Spit Park during last years. The number of customers in need of high-quality and stable cellular communications is increasing. This paper presents technical solutions for a fifth-generation cellular network organization on the territory of the national park. Calculations of the communication range of one site was made. The total number of base stations of such a network was determined. Based on the results a cellular network was built and then optimized with the help of a specialized program. Its payback period was calculated too.

Optimal parameters and sharp estimates of the convergence rate of the tangent expansion

Abstract

In this paper we conceder the properties of the tangential incomplete block LU — decomposition. We present an analytical approach for determination of the optimal values of the decomposition parameter and derive sharp estimates of the convergence rate for a broad class of model problems. Numerical results prove that high convergence rate can be achieved by using these values also for the problems with varying coefficients.

Development of a mathematical model for the process of rocket fuel bubbling with liquid nitrogen

Abstract

To achieve an optimum temperature of rocket fuel, its negative temperature and the amount of its purification from impurities are necessary. For this purpose, a mathematical model of the temperature dependence inside the bubbler has been developed in this article.

Analysis of the application of mathematical modeling in geology

Abstract

In this paper, the most characteristic errors in the application of mathematical-statistical and model methods that periodically occur during the review of scientific geological journals were analyzed, and recommendations for their elimination were given. The problems of determining relative errors in simplified mathematical models are discussed. The necessity of calculating the parameters of the background value and excluding its influence on the calculation of the “useful signal” is shown. A graphical method for determining the minimum abnormal content is also proposed for discussion and testing.

Basic thermodynamic parameters in a non-ideal gas and the speed of sound based on various equations of state

Abstract

The paper derives explicit relations for thermodynamic quantities and the adiabatic equation for a gas described by the equation of state of the most general form. Explicit formulas are given for the most known equations of state. As an example, the nature of the behavior of the speed of sound as a function of temperature and pressure for the Van der Waals gas is investigated and the obtained results are compared with experimental data. The analysis showed that the obtained formulas describe the speed of sound much better in a wide range of pressures and temperatures.
