On Estimation of Rainfall Variations over the European Part of Russia
... part of Russia over the period of instrumental observations (1901-2005) are considered in comparison to the hemisphere and global rainfall variations. A positive rainfall trend is indicated over the observation period. The most significant increase in precipitation over the European part of Russia was recorded in the second half of the 20th century and amounted to 20.6 mm/10 years.

Dipolarization of the earth magnetic field and charge particles precipitation from the magnetic flux tube
... then at more closer distances from the Earth. This process takes a few minutes and covers the region in the magnetosphere of 10 Earth radii. One of possible explanations of this phenomenon is associated with cooling magnetic flux tubes caused by the precipitation of the energetic particles in the ionosphere. We have made evaluation of the effectiveness of this mechanism.

New data on heavy metal bioconcentration on the territory of the Baltic region
This article focuses on the features of heavy metal (HM) accumulation in carpet-floor species of mosses in the Kaliningrad region. A cross-spectrum analysis helped identify the patterns of HM accumulation depending on the amount of atmospheric precipitation. The authors calculated the indexes of HM concentration, which underlies the offered classification of the Baltic region countries by in the level of pollution.

The bioindication of heavy metal precipitation in the Kaliningrad region
The moss biomonitor technique was employed to study heavy metal precipitation in the Kaliningrad region. Graphical data interpretation, correlation and factor analysis helped distinguish the anthropogenic and natural components in moss pollution.

Variability of climatic characteristics оver the South-East Baltic coastal waters in the early XXI century
The study is focused on features of hydrometeorological conditions in the southeastern Baltic Sea and their trends assessment for 2005—2019 (climatic half period). The authors used the data from field observations of atmospheric pressure, wind direction and speed, and air temperature from the automatic hydrometeorological station located offshore, as well as the satellite data from the infrared and microwave (radar images) ranges to determine sea ice and sea surface temperature, respectively. The...

Identification of palladium and rhodium mobility in atmospheric precipitation
A series extraction of platinum metals (Pd and Rh) from natural sedimentary samples near the trunk-roads of Rhine-Westphalia was conducted. The authors make an assumption about the mechanism of influence of environmental conditions on the mobility of elements studied.
