Formal languages and automata VII: Formal tree series (Part II)
This is the eighth paper of a series of papers that will give a survey on several topics on formal languages and automata by using semirings, formal power series, matrices and xed point theory. The seventh paper of this series deals with tree (series) automata and systems of equations over tree . The main topics of the paper are the following. 1. Pushdown tree automata, whose behaviors are tree series over a semiring, and algebraic tree systems are equivalent; moreover, the class of algebraic tree...
The impact of monetary policy regimes on economic development: results of an in-house economic experiment
The article analyzes the approaches to understanding the term “economic policies”. Unveiling the unseen: the challenge of phenomenological conceptual untranslatables
This article aims to explore the significant challenges posed by phenomenological untranslatables while also emphasizing their role as cultural phenomena. Phenomenological untranslatables are typically associated with a specific cultural, historical, or social context, and their meanings are shaped by the unique experiences of the community that uses them. They encode complex elements of human perception, emotions, or phenomena that do not have direct equivalents in other languages. Yet, the absence...
Linguistic creativity of the avant-garde: language functions in literary and advertising discourses
The article departs from two non-referential functions of language — the poetic (expressive) and conative (appellative) functions — described by many linguists starting from Roman Jakobson and Karl Bühler. Their combined effect is shown using examples of linguistic techniques from the two types of discourse — the Russian literary avant-garde and the avant-garde advertising-propagandа — outreach. A discursive analysis of Russian literary (experimental) and advertising (avant-garde)...
Heterogeneous models of problem and instrumental diagnostic environment for decision-support in complex diagnostic problem
We represents the results of research in the area of two-level representation of complex diagnostic problem (at macro- and microlevel). We also represents the results of development of stratifiable model of concilium, which corresponds the new scientific worldview in respect to medical diagnostic and health informatics. This model displays heterogeneous cooperative clinical collective work of experts in small groups “at the round table”.

Character-istics of communities chironomids lakes of the city of Kaliningrad
This article investigates the state of chironomid communities in Lake Penkovoe, Pond Isakovsky, Pond Shkolny, and the Karasevka pond system in Kaliningrad in spring 2011. The authors provide new data on the species composition, abundance, and biomass of chironomidae. The Shannon, Simpson, Balushkin, and Margalef indices were calculated for the chironomid communities. The authors identified the dominant species in the communities of chironomids and evaluated the quality of water in the studied water...
