European court of human rights’ judgments in the legal system of the Federal Republic of Germany

Abstract

The article evaluates the achievements of Russia’s pre-revolutionary civil law as the basis for the civil law of today. The basic elements of the Russian system of civil law are unique in their character. The authors argue that there is a certain correlation between the legal position of the state in the prerevolutionary Russia and Russia of today. The article ends with a conclusion It is necessary to develop a new conception of the participation of the state in civil relations.

Abstract

The article evaluates the achievements of Russian pre-revolutionary civil law as the basis for modern civil law. The author identifies the basic elements of the Russian system of civil law, which are unique in their character. The author draws a conclusion about certain similarities in defining the legal position of the state in pre-revolutionary and contemporary Russia. It is necessary to develop new concepts of state participation in civil relations.

Formalisation of cognition in a special proceeding trial

Abstract

Criminal procedural cognition in special judicial proceedings is largely based on the provisions of the concept of formal (legal) evidence. The formalisation of evidence presupposes the availability of the necessary proofs and mandatory sources of evidence that create proper conditions for the implementation of the procedural norm of Chapter 40 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

The article describes the results of a drug abuse survey in Krasnodar Krai. Special attention is paid to several risk groups: students of comprehensive schools, higher and vocational education institutions and colleges. The authors suggest a set of measures aimed at developing interdepartmental collaboration for the prevention of drug addiction among youth.

Russian pre-revolutionary scientific ideas of criminal penalties of material nature

Abstract

This article focuses on the theoretical ideas of criminal penalties of material nature in pre-revolutionary Russia of the second half of XIX — early XX century. The author provides an analysis of N. Sergeevsky’s treatise on criminal financial sanctions in the XVII century Russia. Special attention is paid to the research works of N. Tagantsev, I. Foynitsky and others. The author analyses the views of the time concerning expropriation and fines, and identifies reasons for the prevailing attitude to criminal penalties of material nature, which was consistently negative.

Change in the sub-regional asymmetry of the real and financial sectors of the Kaliningrad region economy in the context of economic sanctions

Abstract

The article presents the results of a study of the asymmetry in the real and financial sectors at the sub-regional level. The authors use their own methodology for assessing this asymmetry in the Kaliningrad region. The article describes changes in the sub-regional asymmetry under the conditions of economic sanctions. The authors noted a decrease in its level in the real economy due to the development of import substitution in Kaliningrad municipalities specializing in agriculture.

Abstract

Given the new geopolitical situation, increasingly more attention is paid to the further development of the Special Economic Zone in the Kaliningrad region within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU). The author examines the future of the exclave within the EEU. The article contains an assessment of the EEU’s activity in the context of the sanction policy imposed by certain countries.

On the governance of enterprenueral activity

Abstract

The purpose of this scientific research is to clarify two basic concepts of the theory of competition — ‘entrepreneur’ and ‘entrepreneurial activity’. To do this, the article makes a detailed comparative analysis of how these concepts are defined in the modern domestic theory of entrepreneurship, and on the basis of this, a conclusion is drawn about what drawbacks these definitions possess. In the future, eliminating these shortcomings, their clarification is made. On the basis of the refined notions of ‘entrepreneurship’ and ‘entrepreneurial activity’, the essence and tasks of business management are determined.

Regional aspects of international tourism (1960—1980s)

Abstract

The author explores various aspects of international tourism in the Soviet Union. The article focuses on the main forms and methods used by the Kaliningrad Regional Trade Union Council for the development of international tourism. The author analyses archive materials describing the preparation, organization and reporting of tourist trips abroad and attempts to reconstruct behavior patterns of Soviet tourists abroad during their holidays.
